EXERCISE 3.0.
‘THE HAND OF GOD’
A Professional Killer is interviewed by an Investigative Journalist for a feature piece that will only be released after their death. They are asked one question: “How does it feel to kill someone?”
KEY POINTS
Position: Sitting (head bowed) - slowly rising to stand tall
Embrace the silence.
That is how you control the room.
Slowly stand tall…
Fixating coldly on the ‘Interviewer’.
Answer the question:
“How does it feel to kill someone?”
Be succinct and professional in your answer.
But, maybe allow the directness of the question to overwhelm you a little bit?
This is all about ‘economy of movement’.
Settling comfortably within the mindset of a person who murders people for money.
Do you like it?
Are you disgusted by it?
Can you justify it?
You are not a psychopath.
You are just someone who believes you are doing what you have to do to survive.
Finish the interview by describing one particular victim that has stayed with you.
Why have they stayed with you?
And has that put questions in your mind?
Perhaps it hasn’t.
Perhaps it has just reinforced your belief in the ‘good’ you are doing.
Or maybe that is an answer for another day…
